Blogger’s Travel Guide To Paris | Top Things To Do And See In Paris

Paris is one of my favorite cities, especially when every corner looks like a postcard! There is a lot to see in Paris, so I reduced the main activities in Paris in my guide from my blogger. I also recorded my favorite restaurants and places for cocktails! If you like history or modern coffee, something on this list is for you. Let's go.

Where to sleep in Paris

HOTEL LE ROCH
This ultra-chic design hotel should definitely be on your radar! This hotel is located a few steps from the Louvre and the modern shopping area Rue Saint Honoré and enjoys a central location. After a long day of sightseeing in Paris, you can also relax in the hotel's indoor pool and spa. Read my full Le Roch hotel review.

WHITE NARCISSUS
Elegant and calm, that's how I describe Le Narcisse Blanc. The hotel is located in the seventh arrondissement of Paris and offers a more local atmosphere with many restaurants and shops nearby. Everything in this hotel is a 5-star experience, from the staff to the luxurious rooms to the spa. Read my full review of the White Daffodil here.

THIS HOTEL
This hotel offers an elegant stay with excellent value for money! The hotel is located in the famous 1st arrondissement of Paris, a few steps from the Louvre and the Opera Garnier. Sights, numerous restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. I loved the small boutique of this hotel and the excellent customer service. Read my full Therese Hotel review here.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN PARIS

SEE THE EIFFEL TOWER
It might be a cliché, but the Eiffel Tower is a must for anyone visiting Paris. There are many areas where you have the best view of the Eiffel Tower, but my favorite is the Trocadéro.

Montmartre is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris for its charm and definitely deserves an afternoon of discovery. The district's main attraction is in the 18th arrondissement of Paris and is the Sacré Coeur. Be sure to walk the streets around you and look for hidden gems like the only vineyard in Paris or the numerous elegant cafes like La Maison Rose and Le Consulat. This area is also ideal for photography. That's why I mentioned Montmartre several times in my Instagram post in Paris. So take your camera with you on some beautiful streets and epic cityscapes.

If you want more information about this neighborhood, there is a two-hour walking tour with a guide that can take you for just $ 16! Here you can buy tickets.

VISIT THE GARNIER PALACE

If you don't have time to visit Versailles on the outskirts of the city, the Palais Garnier is opulently decorated. This work was built at the end of the 19th century and became famous for the novel The Phantom of the Opera. It should be on every route by design enthusiasts. Tickets can be bought for 12 euros for adults.

PURCHASE IN PARIS

Which Paris travel blogger is complete without buying? There are many neighborhoods to buy in Paris, but my favorite shop is Galeries Lafayette, an elegant Parisian department store. The brands range from contemporary to designer, but I also like the Lafayette Galleries brand for cheaper accessories. Just stop to look inside!

If you are looking for Parisian designer boutiques like Maison Goyard, Chanel or Dior, you have to stroll down the Rue Saint Honoré. There are also small perfume shops in this area, including my favorite: Memo Paris.

Another neighborhood looking for shops, nice cafes and charming streets of Saint-Germain. After having a coffee with milk in Café de Flore, you can face the neighborhood. City Pharma is a must for beauty products. City Pharma is the cheapest store in Paris where you can buy your favorite French brands like Caudalie, Nuxe, La Roche Posay, and Bioderma, whose price is average compared to the United States.

DRINKING WINE IN SENA

Drinking wine in the Seine is one of my favorite things to do in Paris. Yes, in Paris you can legally drink wine outdoors. I hope this rule applies to the United States! Then grab a bottle of wine and a couple of snacks and choose a location along the Seine. It's a great way to relax after a day tour. And as a local, you will surely be confused when people pass on tourist boats.

SEE A MUSEUM
Although the Louvre is on everyone's list, I would also visit the Musée d'Orsay, which exhibits French paintings and sculptures and houses an imposing bell tower.

SEE THE LOCAL HORSE
Do you remember the Beyonce clip "Partition"? Well, the whole video was inspired and filmed at the Crazy Horse Cabaret in Paris. Crazy Horse is a famous Parisian cabaret known for its almost naked dancers. This show is more adult but works with good taste. The use of mirrors and lighting makes it visually interesting. It is a truly unique and unforgettable activity that you can add to your itinerary.

EATING IN PARIS

Pink Mamma: If I could only eat in a restaurant in Paris, I would have to say that it should be Pink Mamma. This delightful Italian restaurant extends over 4 floors and does not disappoint. From the decoration to the service to the food, everything was perfect! Make sure to book in advance, especially for dinner!

Cook and Saj: This Lebanese place is perfect for an informal dinner that doesn't break your budget. The staff was very nice and hospitable and the "Saj" snacks were so good that we even asked to be brought to our hotel.

Holybelly: Are you looking for a healthy breakfast and lunch that serves breakfast all day? You must check Holybelly where your scrambled egg order will not be evaluated at 3pm.

OR TO GET THE BEST SWEETS IN PARIS

Ladurée: No trip to Paris is without a stopover in Ladurée. With a large number of places in the city, you can satisfy your taste buds all day.

Pierre Hermé: Don't forget this chocolatier! Pierre Hermé was voted best confectioner in 2016.

WHAT TO BRING TO PARIS

The Parisian style has to do with minimalism. I love wearing a bold blazer and combining it with simple items of clothing like black pants and a white t-shirt. Of course, complete the look with beautiful accessories such as this coveted Gucci belt, a bright red bag, and a classic beret.
